Set a blend mode on any layer and PaintLasso recalculates how that layer interacts with the ones beneath it. The full set covers Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Soft Light, Hard Light, Color Dodge, Add (Linear Dodge), Darken, Lighten, Difference, Hue, Saturation, Color, Luminosity and more.
That range covers the everyday jobs: Multiply for shadows and ink, Screen and Add for glows and light, Overlay and Soft Light for contrast and color grading, and the HSL modes (Hue, Saturation, Color, Luminosity) for recoloring without touching the underlying detail.
